Recently, the CTV series Jann was released on Hulu. The comedy series, starring Jann Arden, follows Jann, a fictionalized version of herself. Jann is a singer-songwriter struggling with the reality that her music career is waning while also juggling her newly single lifestyle and family. Today, Apple held a press junket with creator and executive producer Ron Moore and executive producer Ben McGinnis to talk about the new augmented reality app For All Mankind: Time Capsule, released today, which brings the world of the series right into your home. Through the app you can uncover memories from Danny Stevens (Casey Johnson) and his parents, astronauts Gordo (Michael Dorman) and Tracy Stevens (Sarah Jones), through keepsakes of Danny’s that will give you insight to the events that took place between seasons one and two.

Available today, "For All Mankind: Time Capsule" is a new augmented reality (AR) experience that brings the world of the popular Apple TV+ series "For All Mankind" right into the homes of fans to uncover memories from the lives of Danny Stevens (Casey Johnson) and his parents, astronauts Gordo (Michael Dorman) and Tracy Stevens (Sarah Jones), in the decade between season one and season two. Through an interactive AR experience, fans join Danny as he examines keepsakes full of details about the off-screen lives of the charactersand world of "For All Mankind,” where every object tells a story.
“AR presents a new and exciting opportunity to bring the world of "For All Mankind" literally into the homes of the audience in a way that hasn’t been possible before,” said Ron Moore, creator and executive producer of "For All Mankind." “I was intrigued from the very beginning at the idea that we could use AR to immerse the audience in the alternate history aspect of the series, explaining and illustrating some of the historical events and technological advances that are implied in the show but which we never had a chance to fully present. Using this technology allows the audience to immerse themselves into the series by interacting with objects, people and media in an impactful and meaningful way that will bring them even closer to world we’ve created.”

An eclectic curation of festival favorites and award-winning films that will launch exclusively on discovery+ include GROOMED, the powerful story of woman who travels back to her home country to confront her past sexual abuse as a child; MIRACLE FISHING: KIDNAPPED ABROAD, the extraordinary story of a father, kidnapped in Columbia, told through the family’s archival video footage; THE WALRUS AND THE WHISTLEBLOWER, following Phil Demers crusade to free the walrus Smooshie; and MY BEAUTIFUL STUTTER, a film that includes Paul Rudd and Mariska Hargitay among executive producers, highlighting a group children and their inspirational experiences at Camp Say, in New York.
