Advance Preview: The Walking Dead Season Ten Looks Promising

The Walking DeadThis Sunday, the popular series, The Walking Dead, returns to AMC. The episode, “Lines We Cross,” written by Angela Kang, picks up months after the season finale. Lines are still drawn, and dealing with the fallout of The Whisperers, our group does their best to stay away from Alpha (Samantha Morton)’s territory, after so many of their own have been killed.

Winter is over, and now on the beach, the group does what they can to get everyone in top shape for fighting what’s to come, practicing and learning formations. Will it be enough?

Things become tense when the children find something unexpected that could mean more trouble is coming.

Advance Preview: NOS4A2 is a Unique Take on the Vampire Genre

NOS4A2Tomorrow, AMC premieres its new series, NOS4A2. The series is based on a novel of the same name by Joe Hill.

The story starts out when an old immortal man named Charles Manx (Zachary Quinto) lures a young boy named Daniel (Asher Miles Fallica) into his Rolls Royce Wraith with candy and Christmas gifts, while his henchman kills the boy’s mother and her boyfriend. He promises the boy that he will bring him to Christmasland where he will never be lonely, and unhappiness is against the law. It’s easy to see right away that something sinister is going on.

Advance Preview: Fear the Walking Dead Returns with a Positive Start to Season Five

Fear the Walking DeadSunday, season five of Fear the Walking Dead premieres on AMC. The season starts where the last left off, with the group’s new plan of trying to find other survivors who are in need of help. However, doing good doesn’t always go according to plan, when in an effort to save a man named Logan (Matt Frewer), the plane that part of the group is traveling in crashes. Worse yet, the area may hold some new threats, including a different kind of danger posed by the walkers, as well as people who seem to be keen to keep others away. Not everyone is interested in the help the group offers.

Advance Preview: Good Omens is a Delightfully Fresh and Entertaining Series

Good OmensTomorrow, the new six-part series, Good Omens, based on the novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, comes to Amazon Prime. The screenplay was written by Gaiman, and the show was directed by Douglas Mackinnon.

The series stars David Tennant as the demon Crowley, once called “Crawly” and the snake who originally tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, and Michael Sheen, the angel Aziraphale, original guard of the eastern gates of paradise, as unlikely friends, who after being used to all their time spent on Earth, want to stop the rise of the antichrist and the final battle between Heaven and Hell.

Advance Preview: The Inbetween Shows Promise with Better Character Development

The InbetweenTomorrow NBC premieres its new paranormal drama The Inbetween. The series stars Harriet Dyer as Cassie Bedford, a woman who has a supernatural gift, whether she wants it or not. She has visions that allow her to see events that have occurred or ones that have yet to happen, as well as the ability to communicate with the dead and those in between life and death. Although often unpleasant, she uses her powers to help the LAPD solve crimes.

Her foster father, Tom Hackett (Paul Blackthorne), is a detective at the LAPD. When she’s not helping him and his new partner, former FBI Agent Damien Asante (Justin Cornwall), solve murder cases, she’s tending bar at her day job.
