The Walking Dead: The Ones Who LiveThe Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live premiere took LA by storm - both literally and figuratively. Despite heavy rain and wind, the cast, crew and fans turned out en masse to celebrate the premiere of the eagerly anticipated series. On Wednesday, February 7th, about 100 very wet fans waited outside the Linnwood Dunn Theater with hopes of catching a glimpse of the cast from the spin-off of AMC’s flagship series, The Walking Dead and the possibility of being one of the first to view the long awaited return of Michonne and Rick Grimes.

The theater was decked out in shades of red and orange lighting, while the walls were plastered with beautiful shots of Michonne, played by Danai Gurira, and Rick Grimes, portrayed by Andrew Lincoln, as well as the mysterious CRM logo. Attendees were greeted with CRM themed water bottles, full-size posters, and an option to pose for a fire-themed digital photo. While the house was packed, it felt like an intimate gathering and drew Walking Dead alumni such as Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Khary Peyton and Lennie James, as well as former Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang and long time executive producer Denise Huth.

The series looks a lot like 1970s/early 1980s New York City. Crime is rampant and the police are corrupt; it’s a dangerous and hard town.
