Exclusive: Frank Spotnitz Talks Medici: Masters of Florence, Premiering Today on Netflix

Frank SpotnitzToday Netflix premieres its new series Medici: Masters of Florence, which premiered in Italy earlier this year. The eight-part drama, which was filmed in Italy, will be released in its entirety today. The show stars Dustin Hoffman as Giovanni Medici, and Richard Madden as Cosimo Medici, and was created by Frank Spotnitz. The series follows the Medici family as they use their banking business to fund the greatest artists of the Renaissance.

Spotnitz, who also serves as executive producer, recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about the series, as well as teased a bit about the forthcoming second season.

Exclusive: Incorporated: Sean Teale, The Man Behind the Suit

Sean TealeTonight Syfy premiered it's new series Incorporated. The show takes place in a dystopian 2074 where governments have fallen due to climate changes and other crises and corporations have taken control. The series follows Spiga Biotech executive Ben Larson, played by Sean Teale, who is hiding his past (and true identity) and risking everything by using his influence in the corporate world to save the woman he loves.

Exclusive: Sean Baek on the Season Finale of Killjoys

Sean BaekKilljoys, which aired an all-new episode tonight on Syfy, follows intergalactic bounty hunters Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen), Johnny (Aaron Ashmore), and D'avin (Luke Macfarlane), who chase warrants throughout the Quad. They have tried to stay impartial, but with a friend's recent murder, what they've learned about the green plasma, and a war brewing, it's become almost impossible.

Tonight marked the season two finale of the series. In the episode, it was revealed that the plasma is actually sentient. With the help of Khlyen (Rob Stewart) and Fancy Lee, played by Sean Baek, the team try to stop what's been set in motion.

This season, Johnny has been helping Dr. Pawter Simms, played by Sarah Power, to save Old Town on Westerley from the Company, even though he is supposed to remain impartial as a killjoy. Along the way the two fell in love.
