Stars Anna Silk & Zoie Palmer on the Final Season of Lost Girl

Lost GirlThis Friday Syfy premieres the fifth and final season of Lost Girl. In preparation, stars Anna Silk, who plays the succubus, Bo, and Zoie Palmer, who plays Lauren, recently talked to the media about what’s to come on the series.

Palmer talked to SciFi Vision about what she wants the show to be remembered for. “That feels like a big question, because, you know, as we come to the end, it feels like there's so much. Everything comes rushing back to me. You know, it was such a team, of both the characters and the cast. And I think there's something about that that sticks with me, having had a little bit of time away from the actual filming of it now. It's just like the dynamic of the team, of everybody, and how those characters sort of interacted and moved through the five seasons and moved through the trials and tribulations of the show.

“And I mean, it might sound a little trite, but there's something about that that I think, I hope, that people are sort of left with, that sense of, you know, togetherness and helping each other out and that sort of thing.”

Exclusive: Laura Vandervoort Talks Bitten Season 2, Returning Tonight

Laura VandervoortTonight season two of the popular series Bitten returns to Syfy with two all-new back-to-back episodes. Based on the best-selling book series Women of the Otherworld, by Kelley Armstrong, the series this season is in for some changes as witches are introduced into the mix. Star Laura Vandervoort, who plays werewolf Elena Michaels, recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about what's to come this season.

Season two picks up where the previous left off with Elena still dealing with her fiancé Philip (Paul Greene)'s death. According to Vandervoort, fans will see a very different Elena this season. "This season picks up three days after our finale. Emotions run high and vengeance is all Elena can truly think about. She has not taken the time to mourn Philip. The true change in Elena this season is her seemingly acceptance of her fate. She does not apologize for her actions this season. There is no questioning who she is and what she has to do.

"The approach this season was really just being emotionally certain and all in. Season one, Elena was constantly torn between the two lives she was living. She constantly fought the animal within her, trying to suppress it. No more."

Exclusive: John Emmet Tracy Talks Olympus

John Emmet TracyRecently Syfy premiered its new mythological series, Olympus. Actor John Emmet Tracy, who plays the character of Pallas, recently talked to Jamie Ruby in a private interview about his work on the series.

The actor was surprised when he found out he got the role of Pallas. "I was working on two different projects, and they fell together quite closely, and I only had time in between the two for one audition, and it was for this project called Olympus. It was really the only audition I'd done in about three or four months.

"So I did the audition, and then went on to the other project, and, you know, time went by, a couple of months. I never heard back about it, and it sort of faded from my memory.

"And then my agent called, and she said, "You've landed the role of Pallas." I paused, because I was trying to recall it; it had been so long. And when she told me Olympus, I was really surprised, because at this point, I had not even had the chance to meet the show's creator, Nick Willing. The whole thing was off the tape I did with the casting directors.

Exclusive: Michael Xavier Talks Bitten, Returning Friday to Syfy

Michael XavierFriday Bitten returns for season two to Syfy with all new episodes. Last season, Logan, played by Michael Xavier, found out that his girlfriend, Rachel (Genelle Williams), was pregnant with his child, but she was kidnapped.

Xavier recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about his work on the show and what's next for Logan.

When the actor started his work on Bitten, he took inspiration for Logan from more than just the script or the book series that the show is based on. "Every time I approach a character, I tend to look for inspiration outside of just the script or just the books that are offered. And when I first jumped onto Bitten, I didn't know too much about it. I didn't know about the books, but I jumped online, and I did some research, and I found that Logan's character didn't last very long in the book.

"And I spoke to the creative minds and our producer, and they were saying they were going to head in a bit of a different direction with Logan. So it wasn't as imperative for me as it might have been for say Greg [Bryk] and Laura [Vandervoort] to try to stick to the books.

Exclusive: Anna Silk on the Final Season of Lost Girl, Returning Friday to Syfy

Anna SilkFriday Syfy premieres the fifth and final season of its hit series Lost Girl. Star Anna Silk, who plays Bo, recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about her time playing the succubus this season, as well as what she will miss from her journey.

One of the main attractions of Lost Girl to a lot of the fans is the love triangle. Bo's romantic relationships will change some this season, but the triangle between Bo and Dyson (Kris Holden-Ried) and Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) will still continue. "The triangle certainly continues. I feel like every season it's been sort of more one side or more the other side. I don't think that that initial love triangle would ever go away in a sense; it just kind of changes...I think we're going to see both parts of that triangle play out in a way that hopefully everyone will like and be happy with or be surprised by. I don't know, but it made total sense to me, and I feel like where the show is leading and where it ends is exactly where it should be."

Exclusive: Helix's Jim Thorburn on The Mysteries of Caleb

Jim ThorburnTonight Syfy airs its second season finale of Helix. Many fans have been wondering about the mysteries surrounding Caleb, played by Jim Thorburn. Caleb was first seen in the beginning of the season when he ran into Julia (Kyra Zagorsky) on the island, thirty years in the future. Tonight many of the questions about Caleb will be answered.

Thorburn recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about his time working on the series and the mysteries surrounding his character.

Thorburn worked behind the scenes on a set before he started his acting career. "I got into acting after working in the art/set decoration department on The X-Files pilot. It was shot in Vancouver. Having the opportunity to work on set behind the camera, I became intrigued by the performances I was seeing firsthand. It was like a private acting class. I soaked up as much as I could. While working on the second season of The X-Files, and thanks to David Nutter and Chris Carter, I was given the opportunity to audition for the Millennium pilot and booked my first acting role. Through that experience, the biggest thing I learned was how important tone is to any project, and this has always influenced my acting."
