Doctor Who New Season Trailer And September 19 Premiere Date Released At San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con – July 9, 2015 – Exploding with epic and thrilling adventures, Doctor Who returns to BBC AMERICA on Saturday, September 19 in the new season of the hit show.

The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) is joined by Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) for time travel on a cinematic scale. Having the time of their lives, the pair meet new and old monsters, and go on a journey that takes them to deadly alien planets, creepy underwater bases, Vikings villages, a global Zygon uprising, and leads them through hidden alien dens, to the very end of time itself.

Meeting monsters old and new the Doctor will come face to face with Missy (Michelle Gomez), a city of Daleks, deadly mercenaries called the Mire, terrifying ghosts and more.

San Diego, CA – July 9, 2015 –Syfy has announced the launch of a virtual reality app for The Expanse, the network’s highly-anticipated drama series from Alcon TV premiering in December 2015. Utilizing Google Cardboard, the app immerses viewers into the vast world of The Expanse, giving them the opportunity to enter into settings from the show and experience them in virtual reality.

“The Expanse VR” app – available for iOS and Android devices – takes users on a 360-degree tour of the spaceship Canterbury (the massive ice freighter introduced in the first episode of The Expanse). Additional virtual reality content will be added to the app in the months leading up to the series’ premiere in December.

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – July 8, 2015 – USA Network announced today an unprecedented Uber partnership and largest transportation domination stunt to ever hit San Diego’s Comic-Con® for its highly-anticipated drama series, COLONY. 

The COLONY “Transportation Domination” will provide Comic-Con attendees with complimentary rides using a fleet of hundreds of COLONY branded units including military vehicles and SUVs, bicycles from 23 DecoBike stations and pedicabs, beginning Thursday, July 9 and continuing through Saturday, July 11 from 10:00 AM –10:00 PM PT daily.  The massive squadron of custom-designed COLONY branded military vehicles and SUVs will be available for request via the Uber app by selecting the COLONY option.   Additionally, one lucky participant will win a ride with COLONY creators Carlton Cuse (“Lost,” “Bates Motel”) and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”).  Fans can enter by following @ColonyUSA on Twitter and using the hashtags #ColonySDCC and #UberColonySweeps.
