Tonight the new series The Messengers premieres on The CW. In the first episode, a mysterious object crashes on earth, exploding in blinding light. From it comes a shockwave, that upon hitting five strangers across the country, causes them to fall and die in an instant, and then suddenly wake back up. After the event, the few are not the same as before and have special gifts, from extra strength to the ability to heal. An even bigger change? They all have beautiful white wings in their reflections.

Also from the fire of the crash comes a mysterious and ominous man (Diogo Morgado), who seems to be less than angelic.

Recently Syfy premiered its new mythological series, Olympus. Actor John Emmet Tracy, who plays the character of Pallas, recently talked to Jamie Ruby in a private interview about his work on the series.

The actor was surprised when he found out he got the role of Pallas. "I was working on two different projects, and they fell together quite closely, and I only had time in between the two for one audition, and it was for this project called Olympus. It was really the only audition I'd done in about three or four months.

"So I did the audition, and then went on to the other project, and, you know, time went by, a couple of months. I never heard back about it, and it sort of faded from my memory.

"And then my agent called, and she said, "You've landed the role of Pallas." I paused, because I was trying to recall it; it had been so long. And when she told me Olympus, I was really surprised, because at this point, I had not even had the chance to meet the show's creator, Nick Willing. The whole thing was off the tape I did with the casting directors.

Friday season five of the hit series Lost Girl returns to Syfy with all-new episodes for its finale season.

The premiere picks up where the show last left off. Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) is in Valhalla, and Bo (Anna Silk) will do whatever she has to, to get her out. As always, her friends are there to help her and protect her if need be.

There was also the introduction of a few new Fae and Valkyries.

Bitten returns Friday night to Syfy with an all-new special two-hour premiere of season two.

The series picks up a few days after it left off. Jeremy (Greg Bryk) found out that James William (James McGowan) was actually his father, Malcolm, Logan (Michael Xavier)'s girlfriend, Rachel (Genelle Williams), who is pregnant with his child, was kidnapped by Malcolm, and Elena (Laura Vandervoort) found Philip (Paul Greene)'s severed head in her bed. Season two doesn't slow down from there. The pack must hunt down and kill Malcolm or Jeremy must step down as Alpha.

Season two brings a new supernatural element to the show as witches are introduced. The Pack meet two witches are willing to do what they need to get what they want, even if it involves hurting werewolves, who they say they want to help. The worst part is, there is someone or something much much worse out there, something even Malcolm's afraid of.
