One of the highlights of FOX's freshman hit
Empire has been the bond between brothers Hakeem and Jamal. Family pressure and musical success threaten to tear them apart, but in the end they always seem to have each other's backs. Can they stand together against Lucious, or will family drama tear them apart?
The show has made breakout stars of Jussie Smollett (Jamal) and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray (Hakeem). The pair recently spoke with reporters about their journey through season one and what fans can expect in tonight's explosive season finale. "Nodoby's perfect," Yazz hinted, "and you'll get that on the season finale. Everybody is an enemy. Everybody is a villain. Nobody is safe in
Empire."
The episode will also include what Yazz called Hakeem's "most turned-up" moment. "It's very sexual. It's about a rivalry, to really get back at somebody," he hinted. "He tries to prove himself, so you'll get to see [that] coming up. It's very intense."
With baby Lola out of the picture, Jamal will spend some quaility time with Ryan
- "on top of Daddy's desk," said Smollett. "Jamal is not done with Ryan yet. He ain’t done with him. There’s a desk involved. There’s some loving involved and they’re not done."
