Tonight Syfy premieres its new weekly series Reactor. Hosted by comedian David Huntsberger, the series will take a humorous look at what's new in science fiction and other parts of pop culture through the use of clips, trailers, sketches, mashups, and celebrity guest appearances.

As the series is being shot weekly in front of a live audience, not a lot about the show is known yet; however, Syfy has released a few of Huntsberger's quick "discount blockbuster" and "first impressions" sketches to get an idea of the feel of the show.

In preparation for the premiere, Huntsberger recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

First, Huntsberger talked about how the series came to be and how he became involved. "Brad Stevens and Boyd Vico are the creators and showrunners and they had [worked on] The Soup and then they did Web Soup as well. So that similar kind of format they brought over to Syfy, and then I was just brought in. I went through the whole audition process and that whole thing, and then they came out and talked to me, and I met with them, and we all jived pretty well together. So that's how I got in the mix."

Tatiana Maslany Earns First Primetime Emmy® Nomination for BBC AMERICA’s Orphan Black

New York – July 16, 2015 – Announced today, BBC AMERICA’s Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany earned her first Primetime Emmy Award^® nomination and the first nomination for the channel’s original series. Tatiana Maslany’s complex multi-character performance as ten different clones to date also earned her two Critics’ Choice Awards, a Golden Globe^® and Screen Actors Guild nomination, a Television Critics Association Award and a Young Hollywood Award. Orphan Black has also earned a Peabody Award.
