July 9th, Leverage: Redemption premiers on IMDb TV. The series, which is a continuation of the original, picks up with the Leverage crew years later. The team, led by grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman) also includes thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), hitter Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge), his foster sister, Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon), and corporate lawyer Harry Wilson (Noah Wyle), who’s looking for redemption. The crew help those who are wronged by the rich and powerful to get justice – and leverage.

Recently, in preparation of the premiere, Kane, Riesgraf, and Shannon talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about the new season.

The all-new one-hour special TMZ INVESTIGATES: UFOs: THE PENTAGON PROOF airs Tuesday, June 29 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
 
TMZ will walk viewers through UFO footage, including a never-before-seen video of UFOs from the deck of a USS naval ship, and speak with some of the people who experienced it firsthand. Interviews will feature senators, military pilots, a Harvard scientist, former Pentagon officials and the two people who pushed the government to release information it has held secret for more than 70 years. 

Tonight, A Discovery of Witches, which is based on the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, returns to AMC for season two. In the second season of the series, which is also available to binge on AMC’s premium streaming services, Diana, played by Teresa Palmer, and Matthew (Matthew Goode) have safely arrived back in time in Elizabethan London where they must continue their search for theBook of Life as well as find someone to teach Diana to control her magic.

Recently, to promote the series, Palmer talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview where she talked about her work on the series, including the difficulties in working in elaborate Elizabethan costumes, working on such a detailed set, what she was looking forward to filming in season three, and more.

Tonight, Doomsday Mom: The Lori Vallow Story, premieres on Lifetime as their next film in their “Summer of Secrets” lineup. The story is based on real events and follows Vallow (Lauren Lee Smith), who gained media attention when it was reported her children, J.J. And Tylee went missing. She and her husband, Chad Daybell (Marc Blucas), were part of a doomsday prepper group. The bodies of the children were later found in the backyard of Chad’s home. The film also stars Linda Purl and Patrick Duffy.

Stars Smith, Blucas, Purl, and Duffy recently talked to the media as part of a press conference, in which SciFi Vision took part, to promote the film.

Friday Syfy airs the series finale of its thrilling vampire series, Van Helsing. In the final season, the show follows Vanessa (Kelly Overton), Jack, played by Nicole Muñoz, and Violet (Keeya King) as they fight the Dark One (Tricia Helfer) to save humanity once and for all. Now that the Dark One’s life force has been returned from the amulet and she is back to full strength, it all will come down to the epic final battle between the Van Helsing family and Dracula.

Muñoz recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about her final season working on the series, filming in Slovakia, Jack’s costume, reuniting with Overton, and more.

Yesterday, Paramount+ released the second season premiere of Evil, a psychological thriller which originally aired on CBS in season one. The series stars Katja Herbers as Kristen Brouchard, a forensic psychologist who has been hired by David Acosta (Mike Colter), a Catholic seminary student, to work with him and his contractor and technical expert, Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi), to help him differentiate between possession and mental illness. She is the skeptic of the group and an atheist and therefore does not believe in demons but continues to be tested as she struggles to explain supernatural occurrences around them.

Recently, Herbers talked to Jamie Ruby in an exclusive interview for SciFi Vision about working on the series, how recent events have changed her character, Kristen’s relationship with David, working with Michael Emerson, what’s to come for her character, and more.

Yesterday, the dark comedy, Kevin Can F**k Himself, premiered on AMC. The series follows Allison (Annie Murphy), the stereotypical sitcom wife of Kevin (Eric Petersen). However, when the scene switches from the bright multi-cam to the more realistic single-cam part of the series, we see her life is anything but the happy sitcom it first appeared to be.

Series’ creator and executive producer Valerie Armstrong and showrunner and executive producer Craig DiGregorio recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about making the series, where the idea came from, creating its unique look, their favorite scenes, and more.

On the last day of the ATX TV Festival, there was a panel for the upcoming Syfy series, Surreal Estate, of which the first two episodes were made available to festival attendees. The panel, which was moderated by Jeannine Amber, featured stars Tim Rozon, who plays Luke Roman, and Sarah Levy, who plays Susan Ireland. 

On the series, Rozon and Levy play real estate specialists that sell the houses no one else wants to, because they are haunted or have some kind of supernatural energy. Each house has its own individual issues that they have to deal with. Having worked with each other in the past on Schitt’s Creek, they knew right away that they wanted to work with each other again on the series.

Tonight, Lifetime premieres the newest of its films in its “Summer of Secrets” lineup, Secrets of a Marine Wife. The movie, which is based on real events, stars Sadie Calvano as Erin, the pregnant wife of U.S. Marine Corporal Jon Corwin (Evan Roderick), who went missing. After her body was found, suspicions grew in the Marine community. However, it was revealed that Erin was in a relationship with her neighbor, Marine Christopher Lee (Tom Stevens), which caused the paternity of the baby to be questioned as the investigation continued.

Stars Calvano, Roderick, and Stevens, along with the executive producer, Judith Verno, recently took part in a press conference to promote the film.

Stevens talked Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision about his favorite scene. “I’d say the pool scene. The pool scene was really fun to shoot. We were just in the pool all day, just swimming. It was great.” Roderick agreed.

Calvano had a different favorite. She told the site, “I actually think that I would say that one of my favorite scenes is the scene that we shot in the diner. I feel like it is really different from the rest of the film, and I think that there is a moment in that where we see the cracks really starting to appear.
