Tom Mison on What's To Come on Sleepy Hollow

Tom MisonSleepy Hollow returned earlier in the month after its short hiatus for all new episodes. The star, Tom Mison, who plays Ichabod Crane, recently talked to the media about what fans can expect moving forward.

Mison talked to SciFi Vision about the move to make Sleepy Hollow start to be more mystery of the week and less serialized. “I’d rather welcome that change. Every writer comes to set with their episode, and when we sit around, and we have a drink after work and discuss ideas, there’s so many amazing ideas for the standalone episodes, that to give that format to that group of writers, I have absolute faith that it won’t become the dreaded monster of the week. It will be much fuller than that. There are so many great ideas from them I think we could probably easily fill another season with just what they’ve got now, let alone what they’ll have in the next few months.

“So, I think within that you can keep exploring character, rather than having to stick to following certain character acts through so ever many episodes, when the next writer might have a specific story that they want to tell, but, you know, they have to stick to something from before. I think it’ll be a welcome change.”

Jada Pinkett Smith on Playing Gotham's Villainess

Jada Pinkett SmithFOX’s hit series Gotham, is known for both its heroes and villains. Jada Pinkett Smith, who stars as villainess Fish Mooney on the series, recently sat down with the media to talk about her character, as well as what’s in store for fans of the series.

The actress talked to SciFi Vision about the future of her character. “Well, it’s not quite over yet, but we’ll see if Fish survives the season. It’s a little tense from here on out. That’s for sure. It’s a little rough on Fish from here on out.”

She also talked to the site about her favorite scene to shoot so far in the series. “I think one of my favorite scenes would have to be that Maroni scene when I go to Maroni and I hear that Penguin’s alive, but I have yet to see him, and then he comes from the back, in the kitchen, and I see him for the first time. I think that’s probably one of my favorite scenes that I’ve done so far.”

Judy Greer Talks Archer

Judy GreerJudy Greer is on a roll. She stars in two FX comedies, Archer and Married, and is in two of this summer’s most anticipated films, Ant-Man and Jurassic World. Despite her hectic schedule, she’s thrilled to be back in the studio as Archer’s unstable, glue-drinking secretary Cheryl.

Greer confesses she has little in common with Cheryl (who does?), but finds playing an animated character is in some ways liberating. “I don't think I would do this stuff live action that my character does animated,” Greer told journalists this week via conference call. “I feel like that would make me really uncomfortable.”

However, she added “It's also really freeing to be able to do it the way that we do. It's pretty amazing.”

Animation allows her to step out of her comfort zone: “It's pretty cool to be able to be in something that's so raunchy and so disgusting,” she admits, “but be able to get away with it and not be raunchy and disgusting. It's a really nice treat, at least for me."

Sasha Roiz Talks Grimm Season 4 and the Upcoming Grimm Gala

Sasha RoizSasha Roiz, who plays Captain Sean Renard on the hit NBC series, Grimm, recently talked to the digital media about the series and what fans can expect moving forward, as well as the Grimmster Endowment, whose fundraising efforts will be kicking off with the Grimm Gala, which will be supporting Portland’s OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

Roiz talked to SciFi Vision about what is coming up for his character and Julliete (Bitsie Tulloch), now that it seems she is part Hexenbiest. “This season has become kind of like the season of the Hexenbiest. It’s a hexen feast, as I like to call it. There’s been my mom (Louise Lombard), there’s been myself, Juliette's transformation, Adalind (Claire Coffee)'s involvement, and a lot of sort of magical developments - some good, some bad.

“And it’s definitely going to create havoc as you could imagine. Certainly already has for Juliette, and now it slowly will trickle to everyone else. She’s come to me in that kind of partnership, and assistance is going to be imperative for her to try to understand who she is and how to navigate this uncharted water for her.
