SUNDANCE TV CONTINUES THRILLING RIDE DOWN ‘THE RED ROAD’
TUNE IN FOR THE SEASON TWO PREMIERE ON THURSDAY, APRIL 2 AT 10PM ET/PT

Touted as “gripping” by The Associated Press, “The Red Road” is a spellbinding thriller with a cast that is going places (Jason Momoa’s Aquaman is getting tons of buzz and Martin Henderson will soon star alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Robin Wright and Keira Knightley in Everest). The hard-hitting SundanceTV drama also stars Julianne Nicholson (“Masters of Sex,” August: Osage County) and Tamara Tunie (“Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit,” “The Good Wife”).

The season two opener jumps directly into the fallout from the adrenaline-filled shootout involving local cop Harold Jensen (Martin Henderson) and Philip Kopus (Jason Momoa), a dangerous member of a local Native American tribe.  As Harold’s wife Jean (Julianne Nicholson) continues to put her life back together in the aftermath of season one’s events, rumors begin to swirl that the tribe’s newfound federal recognition will lead to the building of a casino up on the mountain.  With tensions mounting, and Kopus’ mother Marie (Tamara Tunie) arguing vehemently against it, the stage is set for a shocking discovery.  By the end of the opening episode an unexpected murder has taken place that hints at the ripped-from-the-headlines topics ahead, including toxic dumping which raises the stakes for all the characters.

An all new episode of Helix premieres tomorrow night on Syfy. Below is a clip exclusive to SciFi Vision. Everyone is realizing that the disease is spreading too quickly and begin to panic. Contemplate deserting their mission altogether.

Tomorrow Syfy's Helix airs its tenth episode of season two. In preparation, star Neil Napier, who plays Peter Farragut on the series, recently talked with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision for an exclusive interview about this week's episode and the rest of the season.

Helix is a show that is full of questions. Viewers now know that Peter is working for Ilaria; however, they still do not know where his loyalties really lie. "It's hard to tell right now where we're at in the season exactly what Peter's motivations are, exactly what he wants from Ilaria, and what his end goal is. But we will in the next three or four episodes, definitely by the end of the season, have a pretty clear idea of why Peter does the things he does."

The actor had a few scenes down in the oubliette this season, and he enjoyed filming in the pit. "I loved filming everything down in the oubliette, because it was so isolated, and there are all these very intimate two hander scenes; that's always fun to do. It's uncomplicated to shoot it. It's two actors that can just really get into the meat of the scene, so it's the simplicity of those kinds of scenes that I really enjoy."

Season Premiere to Feature April Fool’s-Related Stunts

February 18, 2015 (Santa Monica, CA) — GSN, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today the second season premiere of their new hit game show, IDIOTEST on Wednesday, April 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Comedian Ben Gleib (“Chelsea Lately”) returns as the wildly witty host dishing out even tougher brainteasers to contestants competing for a $10,000 cash prize. Gleib will also play an integral role in the season two premiere which will feature some April Fool’s-related stunts being kept under wraps. The remainder of the season will feature new types of tests and rivalries, as well as a variety of themes amongst the competitors.

One of the most successful people in the music industry today, Scott Borchetta, President and CEO of the Big Machine Label group joined American Idol this season as mentor to the contestants. Borchetta recently talked to the press about his work on the show and working with the singers.

Borchetta talked to SciFi Vision about what surprised him most about working as a mentor on American Idol. "You know, a lot of the things that I really came into this with my eyes open and my mouth shut, just to learn the program, understand how the entire production works together. I've been so impressed how this team takes care of each other. From the judges all the way down to every piece of this production, it's really incredible and it's really blown me away about how much everybody cares about the show.

"Watching the judges interact, especially during Hollywood Week and the Green Mile, and seeing how much Jennifer and Keith and Harry take so much time and care in trying to make sure they do the best job possible. You never know that coming from the outside. It's like you see an hour or two of television every week and you don't know everything that goes into it. There's so much love and care that goes into the show, it's blown me away."
