NBC’s hit series Grimm returns October 24th. The season will pick up where the last left off, with Nick, played by David Giuntoli, having lost his Grimm powers.

The star recently talked to the media about the new season.

Giuntoli first talked to SciFi Vision about how Nick will be handling his loss of Grimm powers. “Grimm powers are gone from Nick...I mean, he's kind of enjoying his new normalcy, I think, in a lot of ways. But he also knows that the Wesen are out there. So first and foremost he's going to be using Trubel as his seeing eye Grimm.

“He is going to be tapping Monroe, which he used to do, on his shoulder quite a bit. He's going to be using his team of Wesen and Grimms to try to do what he used to be able to do. But he doesn't have his powers anymore, and that means that not only can he not see the Wesen, he's just not as powerful as he was.”

The actor also talked to the site about working with Jaqueline Toboni, who plays Trubel. “Jacqueline Toboni was just such a breath of fresh air on our set. She's so fresh and talented and eager...She's incredible. She's like a little sis.”

It's that time of year again and SciFi Vision will be attending Syfy's 8th Annual Press Tour in Orlando, Florida. The event starts this Sunday, with dinner with Syfy executives at Universal City Walk and bowling with the cast of Ascension. It continues on Monday with the main event of the Q&A panels, followed by a VIP look at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley.

A schedule along with what specific talent will be there should be available soon; as soon as I get it, I will post it. So far it has been announced that the following shows will be represented there:

12 Monkeys, Ascension, Face Off, Helix, Killjoys, Sharknado, Town of the Living Dead, and Z Nation.

Be sure to follow the scifivision Twitter feed on those days, as well as check back here on the site for live coverage. I will be posting news and quotes from the event, as well as photos, so check back often.

Recently Bones entered its tenth season on FOX. Actor T.J. Thyne plays the character of Jack Hodgins on the series, the brilliant squint who is a forensic entomologist (and a lot more) and a conspiracy theorist married to Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin). They had a son, Michael Vincent, who is now a toddler. Thyne recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision for an exclusive interview about his role.

Thyne has more in common with his character now than he did when he started working on the series. "In the beginning, Jack Hodgins and I were a lot more different. He had major anger management issues, didn't like authority, and had a big chip on his shoulder.

“As the seasons have progressed, so has Jack. Once he started dating Angela, and then married her, once Jack came to terms with Zack being gone, and once the Grave Digger was finally dead and out of his life, he mellowed out. He became a father. Now he's full of zest & spunk.

“But let me tell you the difference: Jack loves bugs and slime and reptiles, etc. I don't, at all (laughs). And Hodgins is a deep conspiracy theorist, which I'm not in real life. That part is really fun to play since it's so different for me. The spiders, he can keep!"

This season on Haven, things are going to be a lot different for Duke, played by Eric Balfour. Duke now has a myriad of other people’s Troubles stuffed inside him that he needs to be able to let out or die.

Balfour recently talked to the media about his character and the new season.

Balfour talked to SciFi Vision about how having multiple Troubles inside him will affect Duke. “there’s a lot going on with this new manifestation of what is happening to Duke. It’s going to be very hard for him emotionally, physically. I think, you know, honestly I don't know that his role is going to change.

“What makes Duke really special, at least for me, is Duke is who he is. You know? He doesn’t compromise who he is no matter what. So, I don't know that he’s going to change. Obviously the character, in a really great way, has evolved over the course of the series quite a bit. And the writers have done an amazing job of that.

FOX recently premiered it's new Batman prequel, Gotham, and one of the villains in the series is Oswald Cobblepot, the future Penguin, played by Robin Lord Taylor. Taylor, who has been stealing the show with his creepy character, recently talked to the media about the series and what fans can expect moving forward.

The actor talked to SciFi Vision about what in the script and his character first attracted him to the project. "The role I just auditioned for blindly. It was a fake scene that they wrote together with a fake character named - I wasn’t told the name of the project. It wasn’t until I was going in the night before where my agent sort of gave me the tipoff and was like, “Oh, by the way, it’s a young Penguin and this is the origin story of Batman.” I was like, “Okay.”...I had already prepared and I just went in and did my thing and it just worked out for once.

Tomorrow CW premieres it's new series, The Flash, which is a spinoff of Arrow. The show follows Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), who's mother was killed and his father was convicted of the murder when he was only eleven. His best friend Iris (Candice Patton)'s father, Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), took him in and raised him. Now working with West, Barry is an observant CSI investigator. Though West has always thought his mother's case was open and shut and is sure his father is the culprit, Barry refuses to give up.

Barry is a science geek and goes to see the unveiling of physicist Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh)'s particle accelerator, but during the test something goes wrong and many people are affected. Barry wakes up after a nine month coma to find that he has super speed, and intends to use it to help others.

It's been a long time coming, but SciFi Vision has finally been upgraded to Joomla 3! There are a few kinks I'm working out, such as rearranging the load order of some modules while on mobile, but for the most part, everything should be updated on the site. If you find any errors or inconsistancies, please let me know. You can use the contact form above or send me a message on Twitter or Facebook.

Thank you for your continued patience and support. This update will be things will go a lot smoother and also faster, so you can look forward to more content in the future!
