FOX’s new comedy,
Weird Loners, premieres Tuesday, March 31. The series follows four thirty-somethings who have failed at romantic relationships. Unexpectedly they are thrust together in a New York townhouse.
Two of the stars, Becki Newton, who plays Caryn, and Zachary Knighton, who plays Stosh, recently talked to the media about their new series.
The two talked to SciFi Vision about getting along well with the cast and working together on set.
Newton said, “I think what works so well, and you can see right away from the very first episode, we all started, and there was a very easy chemistry between us, as though we’ve all been working together a very long time. And I know that it made filming so much more fun and so much easier, and we were able to really play around from day one. There wasn’t a learning curve that I’ve had in the past where you get to know each other and become more comfortable, we all arrived pretty ready to go.”
Knighton added, “We love each other...Those guys are so funny and everybody comes from a television background. I think we’re all pros. I guess Meera [Rohit Kumbhani] is the newcomer, but it doesn’t feel like it. She feels like the coolest customer of all of us.”
