ADDITIONAL CASTING DETAILS ANNOUNCED FOR SEASON 4 OF SHOWCASE’S CONTINUUM

VANCOUVER, B.C. April 8, 2015 – Reunion Pictures, in association with Shaw Media, today announced casting for the group of Future Soldiers who have arrived to battle Keira Cameron (Rachel Nichols) and her team in the final season of Showcase’s Continuum. The formidable cadre includes Kyra Zagorsky (Helix, Soldiers of the Apocalypse), Michael Eklund (Bates Motel, Shattered), Ty Olsson (The 100, Nerds and Monsters), Aleks Paunovic  (The 100, Arctic Air), Lisa Berry (Xlll: The Series, Nikita) and Garfield Wilson (Almost Human, Arrow).

FOX has picked up comedy series THE LAST MAN ON EARTH for a second season, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“We knew we had something special with THE LAST MAN ON EARTH. It’s one of those rare shows that continues to add depth and dimension to its unique premise, week after week,” said Madden. “We are so thrilled that this incredibly bold, original and inventive series has been embraced by both fans and critics, and we cannot wait to see where the creative genius and inspired vision of Will, Phil and Chris take us in Season Two.”

In the next all-new, special one-hour episode of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, “The Do-Over/Pranks for Nothin’,” airing Sunday, April 12 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, Phil Miller (Will Forte) finally has some good fortune headed his way.

CINEMAX ANNOUNCES START OF PRODUCTION FOR FOURTH SEASON OF HIT ACTION SERIES BANSHEE

NEW YORK, April 8, 2015 – Production has begun in Pittsburgh on the fourth seasonof the Emmy^®-winning CINEMAX action series BANSHEE, it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Programming. The eight-episode season will air in 2016, with Alan Ball, Greg Yaitanes, Jonathan Tropper, Peter Macdissi, Adam Targum and Ole Christian Madsen executive producing.

BANSHEE concluded its third season last month, achieving record ratings for CINEMAX as well as critical acclaim. Yahoo! named it “TV’s best action show,” while the A.V. Club described the series as “one of the best things on television, period.” The Huffington Post called the show “wildly witty,” and Grantland said BANSHEE is “a whole hell of a lot of fun.”

The end is in sight as the 2nd Mass rallies to fight the Espheni overlords in the fifth and final season of TNT's hit series Falling Skies. Noah Wyle stars in the epic drama from Amblin Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg. Also starring are Moon Bloodgood, Drew Roy, Connor Jessup, Maxim Knight, Colin Cunningham, Sarah Carter, Mpho Koaho, Doug Jones and Will Patton. Falling Skies is set to kick off its final season Sunday, June 28, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on TNT.
 
Since premiering as basic cable's #1 new series of 2011, Falling Skies has ranked as one of basic cable's Top 15 original dramas with total viewers and key adult demos. In its fourth season, the series averaged 4.7 million viewers, including 2.1 million adults 25-54 and 1.8 million adults 18-49. Across TNT's multiple platforms, the show reached an average of 8.4 million viewers per episode in its fourth season.

Bitten Promo - "The Undoing"

Bitten’s second-screen experience The Undoing is now live on Syfy.com. “The Undoing” was produced by interactive agency Secret Location and provides additional content to the storyline for the second season of Bitten. The digital extension dives into the rich back-story and mythology of the series by releasing a series of “found” materials, original photos, videos, and footage from the series. A Bell Fund initiative, with support from No Equal Entertainment, Entertainment One Television (eOne), and Hoodwink Entertainment, "The Undoing" will populate new content throughout the season. Bitten returns to Syfy with all-new episodes for season two starting April 17th. In preparation of the premiere, stars Laura Vandervoort (Elena) and Greyston Holt (Clay) talked to the media about what’s to come in the new season.

This season of Bitten introduces the new supernatural element of witches. Holt talked to SciFi Vision about how the appearance of the witches this season is going to affect Clay.

“I think it broadens all of our horizons a little bit. It's a big bomb to drop in our world that there were others out there with supernatural abilities, and there's a whole new world that's opened up, and I think it's just made all of us a little more accepting and trustworthy of the world around us.”

The two also talked to the site about what Elena and Clay would do if they could have a normal date. Vandervoort said, “I guess the characters [would] go to some restaurant that serves raw meat and maybe go see [An American] Werewolf in London at some old theater...and then have a nice little fire at StoneHaven.”
