"Original Skin" is easily the best episode of the show to date. Previous episodes have managed to blend the fun fantastical tone of the Fae world, the strong characterisation that's set "Lost Girl" above a lot of other supernatural dramas, and the big story arc developments that get audiences jazzed about what comes next. But nothing previous has ever quite pulled it all together in such a fantastic balance to create the most thoroughly watchable instalment of the show yet.

One of the greatest difficulties in setting up a season arc is avoiding the sense of predictability. It's one thing when a plot element is the result of a logical, organic progression of events; this renders the anticipated conclusion more palatable as a result. When the plot thread seemed forced or too convenient, however, it can detract from the whole.
The fifth season premiere left me more than a little concerned about the inability of the writing staff to focus. In what has become a familiar refrain for "True Blood" fans, there just seems to be too many irrelevant subplots taking up time that would be better spent with the main characters. Considering how strong the material with the Authority was, and the depth of mythology that it suggested, why stray into ridiculously mundane, mind-numbing material, if one doesn't have to do so?
Most little girls at one time or another want to be a ballerina or a dancer when they grow up, but only a small percentage of them grow up to get to pursue their dream. It doesn't just take a good encouraging teacher, it takes passion and desire. Against the backdrop of a dance studio and the girls who want to be bunheads, a story unfolds about Michelle (Sutton Foster) who marries Hubbell Flowers and comes to his small town and eventually starts to teach at his mother's dance studio, run by Fanny Flowers (Kelly Bishop).
The Story
This Sunday Falling Skies returns to TNT for a second season, kicking off with a two-hour premiere. The series follows a group of survivors after an alien invasion. At the end of season one, Tom Mason (Noah Wyle), professor and father of three, voluntarily boarded an alien spaceship. Tonight's episode takes place three months later. With Mason still gone, it's up his eldest son, Hal, played by Drew Roy, to step up.
Basic cable’s number one new series last year, Falling Skies, will return on Sunday for its second season. The series is about life and survival after an alien invasion. The show follows the 2nd Massachusetts civilian resistance group, led by Commander Weaver (Will Patton) and unlikely leader and former college professor Tom Mason (Noah Wyle).
Without a doubt Prometheus is a prequel to Alien, but only in classification. See, the Alien series is interesting in that the franchise encompasses multiple genres. Alien was a horror movie set in space, Aliens through Alien Resurrection were action movies in space, the AVP movies were parodies that took themselves seriously with sci-fi back story, but Prometheus is a hard science fiction movie. That is to say, unlike its predecessors it was not meant to scare or to excite, it is meant to inspire thought. I'll tell you right now, if you're going to see it and expecting Aliens, you will be sorely disappointed or bored; however, that's not to say there's not monsters and death, just that those take a back seat. No, this film tries to ask the question, "How you would react if you met your god, and he or she wasn't what you expected?"
Tonight Suits returns to USA Network with all new episodes for the second season. The original law drama follows Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht, a partner at a top law firm in Manhattan, who after being impressed by his vast legal knowledge, hired Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) on as an associate, regardless of the fact that he never went to law school.
Last year's new law drama, Suits, returns to USA Network tonight for its second season. The original series follows Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), law partner at Pearson Hardman, a top Manhattan corporate law firm, and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), the not-technically legal associate that he hired. Harvey felt Mike, who knows the law inside and out, was valuable to the firm, regardless of the fact that he did not attend law school.
