Exclusive: Cush Jumbo Talks The Beast Must Die, Premiering Today on AMC+

Cush JumboThe first four episodes of The Beast Must Die, which premieres next Monday on AMC, are available starting today on AMC+. The series follows Frances Cairnes, played by Cush Jumbo, a mother who’s young son Martie (William Llande) has been killed by a hit-and-run driver. When the police drop the investigation, Frances takes matters into her own hands by moving in with the family of George Rattery (Jared Harris), the man she thinks is responsible, posing as a murder-mystery novelist.

Jumbo recently talked to Jamie Ruby in an exclusive interview for SciFi Vision about her work on the series, learning to sail for the show on the Isle of Wight, the difficulties in taking on such an emotional role, and more.

Exclusive Video Interview: Kane, Riesgraf, & Shannon Talk Leverage: Redemption, Coming 7/9 to IMDb TV

Leverage: RedemptionJuly 9th, Leverage: Redemption premiers on IMDb TV. The series, which is a continuation of the original, picks up with the Leverage crew years later. The team, led by grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman) also includes thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), hitter Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge), his foster sister, Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon), and corporate lawyer Harry Wilson (Noah Wyle), who’s looking for redemption. The crew help those who are wronged by the rich and powerful to get justice – and leverage.

Doomsday : The Lori Vallow StoryTonight, Doomsday Mom: The Lori Vallow Story, premieres on Lifetime as their next film in their “Summer of Secrets” lineup. The story is based on real events and follows Vallow (Lauren Lee Smith), who gained media attention when it was reported her children, J.J. And Tylee went missing. She and her husband, Chad Daybell (Marc Blucas), were part of a doomsday prepper group. The bodies of the children were later found in the backyard of Chad’s home. The film also stars Linda Purl and Patrick Duffy.

Stars Smith, Blucas, Purl, and Duffy recently talked to the media as part of a press conference, in which SciFi Vision took part, to promote the film.

Nicole MuñozFriday Syfy airs the series finale of its thrilling vampire series, Van Helsing. In the final season, the show follows Vanessa (Kelly Overton), Jack, played by Nicole Muñoz, and Violet (Keeya King) as they fight the Dark One (Tricia Helfer) to save humanity once and for all. Now that the Dark One’s life force has been returned from the amulet and she is back to full strength, it all will come down to the epic final battle between the Van Helsing family and Dracula.

Exclusive: Katja Herbers Talks Evil Season Two, Now on Paramount+

Katja HerbersYesterday, Paramount+ released the second season premiere of Evil, a psychological thriller which originally aired on CBS in season one. The series stars Katja Herbers as Kristen Brouchard, a forensic psychologist who has been hired by David Acosta (Mike Colter), a Catholic seminary student, to work with him and his contractor and technical expert, Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi), to help him differentiate between possession and mental illness. She is the skeptic of the group and an atheist and therefore does not believe in demons but continues to be tested as she struggles to explain supernatural occurrences around them.

ATX Panel - Tim Rozon and Sarah Levy on Surreal Estate, Coming to Syfy July 16th

On the last day of the ATX TV Festival, there was a panel for the upcoming Syfy series, Surreal Estate, of which the first two episodes were made available to festival attendees. The panel, which was moderated by Jeannine Amber, featured stars Tim Rozon, who plays Luke Roman, and Sarah Levy, who plays Susan Ireland. 

On the series, Rozon and Levy play real estate specialists that sell the houses no one else wants to, because they are haunted or have some kind of supernatural energy. Each house has its own individual issues that they have to deal with. Having worked with each other in the past on Schitt’s Creek, they knew right away that they wanted to work with each other again on the series.
