Recently, The Librarians: The Next Chapter, premiered on TNT. In the new version of the franchise, which takes place in Belgrade Serbia, a Librarian from the past, Vikram Chamberlain (Callum McGowan), travels through time and is stranded in the present. Trying to find his way back to 1847, he unwittingly releases magic across the country, forcing him to stay behind to help a new team of Librarians to track down magical artifacts and stop the threat from spreading.

Tonight, an all-new episode, “And the Thief of Love,” the Librarians are off to Paris where victims of multiple robberies are left lovestruck. When they find out that Cupid himself is involved, they must track him down and convince him to help.

Recently, co-creator and showrunner Dean Devlin spoke with SciFi Vision about returning for the new series, how it’s unique from its predecessors, his favorite bits, casting, juggling three series at once, and much more.

Murderbot follows the story of a private security cyborg, SecUnit (Alexander Skarsgård), who after disabling its own governor module, secretly frees itself from the corporation’s control but must conceal its independence while joining a team of human researchers on dangerous missions. In the most recent episode, which premiered today on Apple TV+, the crew, who has taken in DeltFall survivor Leebeebee (Anna Konkle), works to repair SecUnit’s damaged systems in the aftermath of his near self-destruction. Tensions flare, as in the process, Gurathin (David Dastmalchian) discovers that SecUnit has overridden its governor module and is now fully autonomous. Despite initial suspicion, most of the crew side with SecUnit, knowing it has been trying to protect them. Later, the episode culminates in a dangerous mission to manually trigger a distress beacon, resulting in an explosion that leaves the fate of SecUnit and Mensah (Noma Dumezweni) uncertain.

Based on the Alafair Burke bestselling novel, The Better Sister is centered on Chloe (Jessica Biel) and Nicky (Elizabeth Banks), two estranged sisters whose lives diverged after a traumatic incident involving Nicky’s loss of custody of her son, Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan), to her then-husband Adam (Corey Stoll). Years later, Chloe is married to Adam and raising Ethan as her own. When Adam is brutally murdered, suspicion falls on Ethan, drawing Nicky back into the family’s orbit.

Olivia Milch and Regina Corrado, who served as showrunners and executive producers on the series, recently spoke with SciFi Vision about adapting the novel for television, casting, and more.

In season two of the crime drama Black Snow, Detective Cormack (Travis Fimmel) takes on two different missing persons cases. For work, when possible new evidence comes to light, he investigates the disappearance of Zoe Jacobs (Jana McKinnon), who vanished from her own 21st birthday party in 2003. In his personal life, he searches for his own younger brother who went missing when they were both children and he now has reason to believe may be alive.

Recently, McKinnon spoke with SciFi Vision about taking on the role of Zoe, her inspiration for the character, dealing with the more emotional aspects of the story, if she knew ahead of time her character’s fate, and more.

SecUnit, however, is more interested in binge-watching soap operas than interacting with the humans around it.

Recently, star Skarsgård spoke with SciFi Vision about working on the series and how it was exciting to him, because it was something quite different. “Well, it just felt tonally quite unique to me, and it was a sci-fi world that I hadn't seen or read before and a character that wasn't your stereotypical protagonist,” the actor told the site, adding that the character was “not self-assured or confident but rather socially awkward.”

Skarsgård also spoke with the site about the costume, where he pulled inspiration from besides the book and script for his portrayal, and more.

NBC’s Night Court follows unapologetic optimist Judge Abby Stone (Melissa Rauch), daughter of the late Judge Harry Stone from the original series, as she takes over the night shift at a Manhattan arraignment court, determined to honor her father’s legacy. The season three finale, “A Decent Proposal,” which aired on Tuesday, features guest star Raegan Revord, who is best known for her role as Sheldon’s twin sister Missy Cooper on the CBS series Young Sheldon. Revord plays the character of Shelby, a teen runaway set on marrying her soulmate. The episode serves as a homage to an episode of the original series that featured Michael J. Fox.
