Syfy recently aired an early premiere of their new series, Van Helsing, which officially premieres in September. Set in an apocalyptic future where vampires have taken over, the series follows Vanessa Van Helsing, played by Kelly Overton, who after waking from a three year coma is found to be not only immune to their bite, but has the unique ability to turn vampires back into humans.

The star recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about her work on the series.

Tonight Syfy aired an all-new episode of its popular series Dark Matter. In the episode, with the help of Calchek (David Hewlett), as clones, Three, played by Anthony Lemke, Four (Alex Mallari Jr.), and Five (Jodelle Ferland) infiltrate Reynaud (Inga Cadranel)'s facility in order to find the meaning of Five's "key."

On tonight's all-new episode of Dark Matter, the crew of the Raza follows the lead of Nyx, played by Melanie Liburd, when she suggests hitting up a freighter ship for some drugs that they can sell for a lot of cash. They soon realize, however, that she has the ulterior motive of saving her brother (Mpho Koaho), who is being held prisoner on the ship that Nyx was previously able to escape.

It's also revealed in the episode why Nyx has always been so great at improvising fight moves and was able to knock Three (Anthony Lemke) out of the way in the previous episode. She and her brother had been given drugs on the ship and connected to the group consciousness, which gave them the ability to predict what is about to happen.
