AMC's The Walking Dead, based on the comic series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, follows a group of survivors, led by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), as they try to survive in a world where zombies, whom they call "walkers," have taken over.

Season six of The Walking Dead has a lot packed into the season. Last season the survivors made it to the town of Alexandria, which seemed like the ideal place at first with its walled in community; however, they quickly discovered that the townspeople were not equipped to handle the apocalypse as they had not had to deal with walkers.

This season the town faces multiple threats as Rick tries to lead everyone to safety.

The first half of the season focuses on the threats of a group of scavengers known as the Wolves, who attack the town. Soon things go from bad to worse as the wall starts to break down and walkers enter the community.

Syfy recently aired an early premiere of their new series, Van Helsing, which officially premieres in September. Set in an apocalyptic future where vampires have taken over, the series follows Vanessa Van Helsing, played by Kelly Overton, who after waking from a three year coma is found to be not only immune to their bite, but has the unique ability to turn vampires back into humans.

The star recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about her work on the series.

Tonight Syfy aired an all-new episode of its popular series Dark Matter. In the episode, with the help of Calchek (David Hewlett), as clones, Three, played by Anthony Lemke, Four (Alex Mallari Jr.), and Five (Jodelle Ferland) infiltrate Reynaud (Inga Cadranel)'s facility in order to find the meaning of Five's "key."

They soon realize, however, that she has the ulterior motive of saving her brother (Mpho Koaho), who is being held prisoner on the ship that Nyx was previously able to escape.

It's also revealed in the episode why Nyx has always been so great at improvising fight moves and was able to knock Three (Anthony Lemke) out of the way in the previous episode. She and her brother had been given drugs on the ship and connected to the group consciousness, which gave them the ability to predict what is about to happen.
